Year One

One year ago at around 6:00 PM, I walked down an aisle.

And we got married.

And then we danced. A lot.

I really can’t believe that’s it been a whole year. We cannot tell you enough how many people said “the first year of marriage is so hard.” I’m not sure what we did wrong, but our first year of marriage was incredible. I love everything about being married to Mark Fontenot. I love how I never thought it was possible to love him more than I did the day we got married, and it’s happened. Which makes it unreal to me that this love will only grow to a place that I yet to fathom.

One of my favorite things about people in love is how everyone thinks they are with the best person in the world. I know I do. I don’t think there is a better man out there. But that’s what every girl in love thinks and that makes me really happy.
