you did it! i'll get back to you asap!

oops, something did not work right. try again!

home owners!

If you think getting married makes you feel like a grown up, wait until you buy your first house. I really can’t believe it! We were so blessed to find an amazing foreclosure in Talking Rock, GA and are proud to say we own a home. WE.OWN.A.HOME!! Here are some photos of our house that we plan to spend our first night in on Tuesday!

Since I took these, the extremely overgrown yard has been mowed by our neighborhoods home owners association. The yard probably hadn’t been mowed in over a year, considering our house is a year old, never lived in home. Ridiculous!

View from our porch. Our house overlooks 25+ acres of green space that our neighborhood has saved. There is a nice little creek that runs through it that our future dog will play in, right Mark?

I can’t wait to fill our house with our not yet purchased new furniture, and once we do you’ll get another tour! Until then…

We LOVE the open floor plan!

The stairs lead to the garage and our unfinished basement. I’ll take you down there later.

Let’s go down the hallway…

First room on the left is the guest room. That’s where you’ll stay when you come visit us!

house12 (guestroom)

You’ll have a guest bath and your own shower, so don’t worry. I just didn’t get a photo of it, so let’s go see my office.

And across the hall from my office is the master bedroom. Woohoo!

This is the first bathroom we’ll live in that we feel like we have space! We’re excited

Shower time…

Definitely buying rubber duckies…and blinds…

Let’s go downstairs. This is our unfinished basement. We are going to make part of it a large closet and the larger part of it a bar. It’s going to Mark’s special project and little baby, and it won’t happen for a while, but when it does it will be awesome!

I promise to take more photos once things are looking spiffy.

Jam.
