august 10, 2009 marked one year!
DO YOU USE AN ASSISTANT AT WEDDINGS?
whenever he can, my super great husband second shoots with me. sometimes i ask other photographers to come a long with me too, or people who are trying to get more experience (if you’re interested, shoot me an email!) otherwise, i fly solo and run around with like mad, but i get the job done and then some.
HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?
wedding packages range from $2250 to $3950 and portrait sessions start at $300. these all include goodies so contact me if you want all the details!
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LENS AND WHY?
my 45mm tilt shift because it allows for the most creativity. also, it’s full manual, so i can’t rush through shots. every shot with that lens has 100 thoughts behind it. also, it’s so dang sharp!
WHO DO YOU USE FOR ONLINE PROOFING?
instaproofs! they make ordering and fulfilling print orders super easy.
WHAT LAB DO YOU USE FOR PRINTS?
ProDPI! incredible quality, incredible customer service. i loves them. i also order all any paper products through them, like business cards, wedding invitations, save-the-dates, etc.

WHERE DO YOU BUY ALL YOUR GEAR?
mostly through b&h. they have a great selection, great customer service, and usually the best prices. every now and then i make shady deals in mcdonalds parking lots for craig’s list finds.
HOW DO YOU PROCESS YOUR PHOTOS?
i use adobe photoshop cs4 for all my processing needs. i like to make my images totally rad by using doug boutwell’s totally rad actions!
