Tomorrow Tig and I leave for what will be an amazing time in New York City. I haven’t really been able to think of anything other than being there. It’s been six years since I’ve walked those glorious streets, and since both of us have done the majority of the touristy things there, I’m pumped to enjoy the small things in one of the greatest cities ever. While I’m there I’ll also be taking two classes by one of my favorite photographer teams, Mark Brooke. It’s going to be one of the best long weekends of all time! I’ll be tweeting and most likely tumbling some photos, so stay tuned. You should also follow Tig, too!
Here’s a playlist of some of my favorite songs about New York, or that just mention it. Half of these have been shuffling in my head for a week in anticipation for the trip. Also, please comment with your favorite thing to do in New York so we can add it to our already un-attainable list of stuff!
Michael and Taylor were Fontenot wedding number two of the summer, and number four in the last year and a half. It was an incredible long weekend in Ft. Collins, CO, full of breweries, rafting, playing and laughing, and it altogether made me fall deeper in love with my amazing in-laws. Taylor, you know how much I love you, and just how dang excited I am that you’re now a part of this family.
Enjoy lots of photos because Michael and Taylor are lots of fantastic.
The story behind these rings: Taylor’s setting is from her grandmother’s ring on her mom’s side and a diamond from earrings on her dad’s side. If you were wondering how awesome Taylor is all you need to know is that she made Michael’s ring out of an old 50 cent coin. 10-12 hours of hammering, smoothing, spooning, drilling, polishing and radness.
Usually I would think a veil flying in the wind is stupidly cheesy, but when it’s not planned and with these two and the location, it made for one of my favorite shots of the day.
Dance party of the year of the planet of the galaxy.
This wedding needs a slideshow. Michael and Taylor’s processional was the best ever, timed perfectly to the rhythm of “Inní mér syngur vitleysingur”by Sigur Rós,making it the perfect song for the slideshow. Enjoy!!
Thanks to my brother in law John and Hailey Moore for your help, I would’ve passed out without it.

Seven summers ago I met Pam on a bus headed to Colorado. We fell in love and began to make some of my favorite college memories driving around Austin jamming and laughing and loving life together. Aw!
Jason and Pam met four years ago at NASA employee training. [Insert all cheesy and inspirational sayings here about love and space and blasting off into the future] ….. Except don’t. Just look at Jason and Pam look at each and be all cute and stuff.
Also, I announced last night via Twitter that I’ve started a TUMBLR. It’s going to be a place where I share awesome stuff I come across, pertaining to photography, art, fashion, music, comedy, design, weddings, and anything and everything else I like. So add it to your news feeds/bookmarks/brains.

Ryan and Lauren are the epitome of “when you know, you know!” They met in December, got engaged in March, and got married June 12. If you’re intrigued by their story, you can read about it here. If you’re intrigued by their photos, that’s why I’m here.
Ryan Long made us all cry with a song that he wrote for the ceremony. A month after Ryan met Lauren, he asked Ryan Long to start writing a song for their wedding, based on thoughts he had about her and Song of Solomon 4:9. It was one of my favorite moments of any ceremony ever.
